Lynne Wordingham
1950 - 2002
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.
Lynne died 9th April. She had been ill with cancer for almost three years.

She was a wonderful wife and a caring and capable mother.

During her illness, although having two major surgical operations, she had three intervals in which her usual busy and energetic life was possible and she was able to continue to help with scouting activities, was involved with local church groups and managed to travel to Russia. All in addition to watching over the rest of the family.

A Service of Thanksgiving for her life was held at London Road Methodist Church, Brighton, on 17th April. It was good to see so many people there who knew Lynne and had shared in and contributed to her life. My thanks to those who, both then and since then, have told me how much they appreciated her positive influence on them, and to all who helped to make it such a valuable and memorable event.

The next part of this page and the pages it links to are the pages that Lynne wrote, and show something of her willingness to be involved with other people both in this country and in Russia; indeed anywhere she was able to make a contribution.
